Walk 4 Wildlife Colour Run

We are super excited to announce that this year's Walk 4 Wildlife is a Colour Run!!

With special thanks to our event sponsors Pam Golding, Hoedspruit we will be hosting a colour run for our 4th annual Walk 4 Wildlife. The mass colour splash will be followed by the 5km walk or run. but it's still your choice as tickets for the walk only are available.

We advise that all colour splash participants pre-book online to avoid disappointment as the colour pots will be available on a first come first served basis and subject to availability.

Check in and registration will open at 15h00. The colour splash will be held at 16h00 directly followed by the 5km run/walk. Make sure you are on time: For safety reasons, late comers will not be able to participate once the last participant has left the starting line.

We anticipate the route to take approximately an hour to an hour and a half if walked, but how quickly you finish is up to you! Should we be unlucky on the day and it rains, bring an umbrella. (We will only cancel the event if it is a heavy rain storm, make sure to follow our event page for updates)

This is a family friendly event, however please note that due to the walk being held on a bush trail, it is not suitable for pushchairs. Please ensure that any children joining the event are able to walk the full 5km, or that a parent or guardian can carry them throughout the 5km trail.

All children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. NO DOGS ALLOWED.

Entry Fees

Colour Splash & 5km Trail - R60 per person

5km Trail only - R40 per person

We recommend booking online in advance to avoid disappointment, however tickets can be purchased on the day (colours subject to availability) Cash is preferred, however card facilities will be available on the day for an additional fee of R2.50 per swipe to cover the banking fees.

All funds raised directly benefit local conservation NPOs; Scales Conservation Fund, ReWild Rehabilitation Centre, Pangolin Rescue Fund, and the Protrack Rhino Task Team.

If you wish to take advantage of Thirsty Giraffes amazing menu on the night, be sure to book in advance by contacting them directly on 081 030 4568 in order to guarantee you get a table because on the night, they will be busy!
